Two multifamily professionals won a total of $110,000 at this year’s NAA Apartmentalize conference, thanks to Apartments.com.
The Apartments.com booth at the national tradeshow featured two cash giveaways: $10,000 on Thursday afternoon and the grand prize of $100,000 Friday midday.
Regional manager Jamey Crosson of Arlington Properties in Birmingham, Alabama, scored the $10,000 prize.
“I never win anything, ever,” Crosson said after his name was announced by celebrity guest Heidi Gardner, representing Homes.com. “I seriously can’t believe this.”
On Friday, Apartments.com’s Jeff Goldblum announced the grand prize winner. The $100,000 prize was awarded to Lena Ulloa of Advanced Property Management.
“Oh my God, I don’t know what to say,” Ulloa said upon reaching the stage.
Ulloa is community director of Mission Lofts in Riverside, California.
The Apartmentalize conference, hosted by the National Apartment Association, ran from Wednesday, June 17 through Friday, June 19 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was attended by around 10,000 multifamily professionals and 600 exhibitors from across the country.
