Off Campus Partners' vision is to become the premiere provider of services to the off-campus population. We are passionate about our mission to provide best-in-class real estate listings and services to students, parents, and faculty/staff in an environment that promotes growth and development for our team members.
Our corporate values - honesty, fairness, respect, and excellence allow us to develop long-term partnerships with our clients, customers, and team members.
Off Campus Partners provides software and services to simplify the off-campus housing search process for universities, students, and property managers. Our private-label software platform and listing program powers the off-campus housing service at many of the nation's leading universities. We serve:
Universities with technology, property manager outreach, and customer support to serve students' off-campus housing needs.
Property Owners/Managers with targeted reach to university renters on the university website.
Off-Campus Students with a single site to find off-campus housing, sublets, roommates, furniture, and education about off-campus living.
Off Campus Partners was started by students, for students and the universities they attend. The idea was born in 2000 from one frustrated University of Virginia student's desire for an easier way to find a place to live. After struggling to find his own off-campus housing, he launched offGROUNDS.com to bring students and property managers together. In its first year, the new site had more than a million hits and 80% of the first year class reported using offGROUNDS in their housing search.
In 2001, offGROUNDS was a finalist in a university Business Concept Competition and became part of the Business Incubator at the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia. The team won 2nd place in the 2002 Darden Business Plan competition, and Off Campus Partners was formed to take the concept to market by partnering with universities.
Today, Off Campus Partners serves the University of Virginia and more than 100 university partners and growing. The company is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia and is an active participant in national and regional student affairs and property management associations.
Our team brings a student affairs approach to the business of off-campus housing listings
