Director of Technology
Off Campus Partners is seeking an experienced Director of Technology to lead our product development team as a player-coach and oversee all IT functions of our company. You have a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, as well as experience managing a technical team from project inception to completion. You are a master of agile processes and continuous integration. Serve as Technical Product Manager for OCP’s software platform – a hands‐on player‐coach:
Lead team of web developers using agile development methodologies. Provide technical mentorship, code reviews and direction to the web development team.
Create and execute product development plans and schedules.
Translate broad business needs into non‐ambiguous targeted agile epics and stories that are consumable by development teams
Design, execute, and report on controlled metrics‐based tests to determine the actual value of all new features
Provide input and estimates to management team discussions about new products, services, and business opportunities to pursue
Lead meetings with current/potential clients and stakeholders to demo product, understand needs, etc.
Develop, program, test, and maintain front and back‐end enhancements to our existing software based on evolving business requirements as a player‐coach. Applications are primarily written in PHP but include Angular 2 and Go microservices.
Architect infrastructure to ensure security, availability, and scalability. Manage vendor responsible for hosted application servers and team member responsible for corporate technology operations (phone, accounting, email, hardware purchases/management).
5+ years of experience in fast‐paced organization performing as a technical team lead or director of technology
Experience designing and coding high performance, scalable systems based on business requirements
A high‐energy, expert communicator who leads effective meetings with technical and non‐ technical colleagues and is hungry to learn/understand both technical and business details
An effective manager with the desire to cultivate leadership and high performance in the team you lead
An independent thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
A data‐driven decision maker who marries sound business judgment with strong analytical thinking
Incredibly focused and attentive to detail, even while working in a very fast‐paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and to prioritize tasks for yourself and others in an environment with evolving priorities.
BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes a company benefits package (vacation, health/dental/vision insurance).

We sell property managers an annual subscription to list their communities on the site.
